ABOUT
Corporate Volunteering contributes thousands of hours of much needed support every year, support that directly impacts Dismantle’s capacity to deliver programs, and the quality time we’re able to spend with at-risk young people while on program. In other words, every minute you spend with us, equates to more valuable time doing what we do best, helping young people.
Every year, Dismantle’s BikeRescue program recycles close to 1000 rusty old bikes destined for landfill. Bike building is the foundation of our youth engagement program, but that’s not all we’re building. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with our youth mentors over 10 weeks, BikeRescue is building confidence, self-esteem, emotional regulation and better ways to cope with the challenges they’re facing.
Corporate Volunteering plays an integral role in getting the bikes ready for program so our youth mentors can spend less time being bike mechanics, and more time being youth mentors.

Led by Dismantle’s Workshop Manager, activities vary from basic bike maintenance (don’t worry, no experience necessary) to odd jobs around the workshop like building work benches and mounting wheel racks! Our new HQ in Burswood is always full of friendly faces, good tunes and free flowing coffee to make you feel at home.
