Cape2Cape fundraiser reaching the far corners of WA

At the end of 2022, Dismantle’s Cape2Cape Charity Team had raised over $50,000 to enable greater reach into regional and remote communities, where risk and disadvantage are significantly higher. Thanks to the continued generosity and support of event organiser, Ironman, Dismantle’s team of 15 riders conquered 4 days of some of the most gruelling and spectacular off-road trails at Australia’s largest competitive mountain-biking event. Since then, Dismantle has put the funds to work reaching at-risk young people in regional and remote communities from Exmouth to Leonora.

The goal was to create a funding pool for BikeRescue program subsidies, so the most under-resourced and highest need communities could access support. Our Charity Team did an incredible job enabling this impact and the smiles of each of the 100 young people we’ll be able to reach as a result, belongs to every donor, customer or rider who got behind the fundraiser. We can’t thank you enough. - Pat Ryan, CEO

We are thrilled to announce that because of the funds raised at Cape2Cape, six subsidised regional BikeRescue programs have already been allocated before June of this year, with a further 5 expected in the second half.
