Lachie joined ReNew in 2019, back when the social enterprise had just one crew and a single hire van of borrowed tools. With no previous work experience, he embraced the opportunity and quickly became an important part of the team.

During his six years with ReNew, Lachie achieved key milestones like gaining his driver’s licence, securing his White Card, and completing important industry training. These accomplishments prepared him to take the next step in his career.

Earlier this year, Lachie successfully transitioned out of ReNew to a full-time job with a large commercial landscaping company. His journey from new starter to leader is a powerful example of how opportunity, encouragement, and hard work can change lives.
